Iconic Places: The Monkey Bar

May 2, 2015

We were in mid-town (Manhattan) last Saturday night and decided to pop into the Monkey Bar and it was a great reminder that just because you have been around for a long time, it doesn’t mean you aren’t relevant. Couldn’t resist sharing a few pics and though I’m not usually a foodie photographer, had to share the look of this wedge salad.

There is something about the place. The feeling of the space, the step down into the clubby dining room, the oh-so-polite wait staff and the tables set just far enough apart to create a sense of intimacy without being isolated, that leaves you with a “that was a  great night” experience.
